In a lot of ways, Round Rock has the small-town Christmas charm in oversupply: the downtown is decked out, volunteers help those unable to decorate their homes a la Taylor Doose (Gilmore Girls), and I believe some HOAs must require homeowner participation.
All that said, you MUST NOT MISS the Forest Creek neighborhood Christmas lights. This is our favorite neighborhood Christmas light display in Round Rock every year. Put on your Christmas pajamas, grab some hot cocoa and cookies or a peppermint milkshake, and cruise.

- Hometown Holiday Shows in downtown Round Rock on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays all month long
- Light up the Lake at Old Settlers Park December 5-6
- The Light Park at the Dell Diamond
